Amite High School sophomore #64, Terrance Shelby Allen passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at the age of 15. He was affectionately known to his family, friends and classmates as TJ.

TJ was born to his grateful and loving parents: Idell and Rodell Zanders and Alan Reid on January 31, 2004 in Hammond, LA.

Terrance is survived by his parents, Idell and Rodell Zanders and Alan Reid. His siblings: E'Monie Varnado, Rodell Zanders, Jr., Kadarius Zanders, Kendell Zanders, Zamaria Zanders, Lillian Reid, Londyn Reid, Ava Reid and Godsister; Chasity Coleman. His aunts and uncles: Theanetta Allen, Andre Selders, Marshall Allen, Oscar Allen, Jessica Faruq and Horace Martin, a host of cousins, other relatives, friends, classmates and teachers.

TJ began his early football career at Mid Parish Little League football team under the head coach, Jarvis Brister. He then went on to play football at Amite Elementary, Westside Middle School and then to star as Amite High School Defensive Linesman being coached by Coach Zephaniah Powell.

Terrance's favorite times were playing the game Fortnite on his PlayStation with his friends. He loved to aggravate all of his sisters and brothers. Pizza, Lasagna and Rice and Gravy were his favorite foods. TJ wanted to play in the NFL and be a welder.

A Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Chapel of Richardson Funeral Home 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Independence, LA at 11:00 am.
