The Brooks and Griffin are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their beloved, Shirley Latrice Griffin (42).  Shirley was born June 7, 1978 to Micheal Brooks and Laura Lucille Griffin in Independence, La.

Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories four children; Ladagiana Griffin, Ladasha Griffin, Darron Robinson and Michael Griffin, one beautiful granddaughter; Joshalynn Irvin, both of her parents and her siblings.

She will certainly be remembered and missed by the community, her dear friends, a host of relatives and other loved ones.

A visitation is scheduled, Friday, June 26, 2020 at Richardson Funeral Home from 2PM to 6PM.

Funeral Services are scheduled, Saturday, June 27, 2020 at God's Faith Ministry in Independence, La at 11am.

All visitors and funeral goers are encouraged to wear protective face coverings or mask and to practice social distancing while attending the services.
