Samuella T. Boyd, age 99, a resident of  Amite, LA, died Saturday, October 6, 2018. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 9:00 am until 11:30 am at St. Helena Catholic Church,  122 S. First St., Amite, LA  70422,  the Funeral Mass will be h immediately after the visitation. Burial will be in Old Butler's Cemetery, Amite, LA.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her godchild, Cynthia Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel and Beatrice Tate; her husband, Otis Boyd, daughter, Patricia Ann Boyd; brother, Herbert Sawyer and sister: Hilda Tate Watterson.
