Russell Salvador Allatto

1930-2023

Russell Salvador Allatto, 92, passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of March 16th, 2023. Russell was born on September 11th, 1930 to the late Mattie & Nace Allatto in Tickfaw, LA where he lived all of his life. Russell was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by his two sisters Mattia Allatto and Josie Allatto Major.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Lucy Clark Allatto, his three children, Mildred Lucido, Russell(Rusty) Allatto Jr, and Michael Allatto, along with his eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his dear siblings Vincent John Allatto, Jenny Allatto Jordan, Salvador Joseph Allatto, and Mary Ann Allatto Prevost.

Russell proudly spent his time as the well respected business owner of Russell's Auto Repair, where he served his community for 39 years doing what he loved.

He loved life, his family, and offering help to anyone that needed it. He was a very meticulous man, patient, taking his careful time to get something done right. This was shown not only in his work, but his everyday living at home. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
