Paris Gabor Huff, 50, of Baton Rouge, transitioned from this earthly life on September 27, 2019, in Jefferson, LA.
Paris was born on November 12, 1968, to Dortha Huff and the late George Huff Sr. in Baton Rouge, LA. Paris put a smile on the face of anyone who met her. She loved her alma mater, Grambling State University, and never missed a Grambling football game. She also loved the Washington Redskins and avidly followed the NFL. She was known for her love of cooking, cooking as a career and for her loved ones. Paris was the life of the party, from her off-beat dancing to her playful joking. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Paris is preceded in death by her father, George Huff Sr, and her maternal aunts, Annie Mae Cochran, Josephine Cochran, and Fannie Mae Cochran.
Paris is survived by her mother, Dortha Ann Huff; her maternal uncles, JC Cochran, Ernest (Marilyn) Walker, Eddie Lee (Alice) Walker and Johnny Walker; her maternal aunts, Irma Johnson, Matthew (Alvin) Brown, Mamie Harris, Audrey Reese, Abigail (Daniel) Moore, Lillian (Larry) Bell, Joeella (Charles) Marion, and Lena (Kenny) Oliver; her paternal aunts, Doris (Johnny) Jones, Mildred (Gus) Ofosu, Joyce (Henry) Watts; her paternal uncles, Louis (Rosalee) Huff and Charles Huff; her brothers, Arvin (Ruby) Huff, Tellas Huff, George (Kacie) Smith, and George Huff; her sisters, Tokewia (Patrick) Broussard, and Monica Huff; her sister in law, Tamela Williams; her nieces and nephews, Rocquelle Huff, Raven Huff, Anasta-Camille Huff, Channel (David) Huff, Arvin Huff Jr., Tanzania (Joshua) Huff, Rochon Huff, Diamond (Roland) Williams, and Darian White; her fiancée, Charill Moss; 3 great-nieces, Kendall, Rileigh, and Kinsleigh; 3 great-nephews, Maddox, Dominic, and River; and a host of cousins.
The family ask that those attending the services wear Paris's favorite color, red. The memorial will be on October 12, 2019, at 10 am at Winnfield Funeral Home, in Baton Rouge, LA. Arrangements are entrusted to Richardson Funeral Home of Amite, LA.
