Mr. Michael Lafaye Jackson was born on August 18, 1961 and departed this life on November 28, 2020. He attended Big Zion Elementary School in Roseland, LA, West Side Middle School in Amite, LA and graduated from Amite High School in Amite, LA He committed his life to Christ at an early age at Roseland Church of God In Christ. He was married to Andrea Daniels. He was an avid bible reader and loved watching western movies. He spent much of his life caring for the sick and elderly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Dokes Morgan, his father, Hollis Lee Jackson, Sr and two brothers, Charles Dokes and Larry Dokes. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Andrea Daniels Jackson, one sister, Linda Dokes Lane (Cleo) of Grenada MS, three brothers, Hollis Jackson, Jr. (Fay), of Greensburg, LA, Ronald Eugene Jackson (Charlotte) of Ponchatoula, LA and Raymond Eugene Jackson of Roseland, LA, One daughter, Damonique Hernandez (Louis), Panama City, FL, one son, Rev., Dr. Marlin Daniels (Hanan), Hammond, LA, seven grandchildren (Ka'Tieya, Armani, Ty'Asia, Kodiee. Jace, Camille and Amelia), aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. He was loved by many. Due to COVID19, memorial services will be virtual.
