Sister Marian Lorrain Cooper Grayson was a resident of Kentwood, LA until she departed this life on April 13, 2021 at the age of 64. She joined Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. John Thompson. Sister Lorrain was united in Holy Matrimony to Brother Charles E. Grayson on October 24, 1998. She was a member of the #2 Usher Board under the leadership of the late Emma Alberta Cooper James. She was a cook for many years at "The Top of The Hill" Restaurant, Bombays Restaurant, and Skinney's. Lorrain was loved by many and enjoyed time playing bingo with her family!
She leaves to cherish her memories, Her Husband: Charles E. Grayson; Five Children: Tibbis Cooper, Bristopher Cooper, Anton Cook, Demarcus (Jeana) Cooper; One daughter: Laterril Grayson; Two foster children: Dominique & Damien Bucanhan; Her Godchildren: Demetria Hookfin, Jarriell Robinson, Meka Gilbert, and Kennie Bee Diamond; Five Sisters: Cara Marice Brown, Margaret Cooper, Margie (Dennis) Williams, Beverly Cooper, and Zelda (Lee) Bess; Four brothers: Andrian (Debra) Cooper, John (Artene) Cooper, Carl Cooper, and Kenneth Richardson. Twenty-three grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren; two special cousins: Dorothy Bickham and Norma Diamond; three special friends; Lorretta McGee, Connie Ann, Gail Wells; and A host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends
She was preceeded in death by her parents: Rose Mary Richardson and Albert Cooper, Sr. Two Brothers: Paul Cooper and Estus Cooper; Two sisters: Rose Marie Cooper Walls and Alvamae Cooper.
Interment will be at Sweet Home M.B.C. Cemetery
