God called his servant Levi (Toy) Bellazer, Sr. to his heavenly home on Wed., March 24, 2021. Levi was born Oct. 28, 1952 in Independence, LA to the late Willie Bellazer, Sr. and Dorothy Butler.

He attended Burger High School in Independence, LA. He later met and married Sharon McGee, the love of his life. God blessed them with three sons and one foster daughter, whom they raised until she was reunited with her mother.

Levi and his family joined Bickham Chapel AME Zion Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Frances Williams, where he remained a member until his death. During his tenor he served as an usher and member of the Mass Choir.

Levi was employed at North Oaks Medical Center, LSU Medical Center, and Independence Elementary School as a custodian for over 30 years, until his retirement. Levi didn't stop working after his retirement, He was a volunteer at Independence Council on Aging until the center's closure in March of 2020.

Proverbs 18:24 says a man that has friends must show himself friendly and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. That verse describes Levi, He was friendly and didn't meet strangers. He loved to laugh, joke, and would have fun just talking with people.

Levi loved spending time with his children and his family. He leaves to cherish his memories Three Sons: Adrian (Arnetrice), Levi Jr. (Denise) of Independence, LA and Christopher (Tessa) of Houston, TX.; One Foster Daughter: Rosilyn Williams of Marion, AR. Six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

One Brother: Felix (Clara) Bellazer of Amite, LA; Five sisters: Jessie Mae Williams of Amite, LA, Barbara Nichols, Amy Bellazer, Lavern Jackson, and Sherri Bellazer; and One Brother: Charles Coney, all of Independence, LA.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Sharon McGee Bellazer; his parents, the Late Willie Bellazer, Sr. and Dorothy Butler. Five brothers: R.D. Watson, Willie Bellazer, Sr., Willie Bellazer, III, Frankie Bellazer, and Joseph Bellazer. Four Sisters: Ella Cleo Smith, Williestean Irving, Priscilla Bellazer, and Paulette Bellazer.
