Jerry Morrise Fultz, a native of Tangipahoa, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Jerry was born June 16, 1952. He was the second sibling amongst four, two preceded him in death, Clarence "James", and John "Mr. Boo",.
His primary educational training included OW Dillon HighSchool. He furthered his education at Southern University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in marketing.
Jerry worked for Exxonmobil before retiring with more than 30 years of service. Jerry was also a member of the North Tangi Support Group where he served as Vice President.
Jerry shared a bond with his companion Alisa Morris for many years. Jerry has two sons Micheal and Jeremy Coleman both of Tangipahoa, Louisiana. In his relationship with Alisa he reared two additional children Carl and LaCarla Morris of Kentwood,Louisiana.
One of Jerry's biggest accomplishments was being a father, and a brother to his only sister Janice Marie Fultz-Richards. Jerry was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them the value of family. Jerry exhibited characteristics, according to scripture, that were pleasing to God: He had a kind, gentle, loving, spirit.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons: Micheal Coleman, and Jeremy Coleman both of Tangipahoa, LA.; his companion Alisa Morris of Tangipahoa, La which are accompanied by (2) children Carl Morris and LaCarla Morris of Kentwood, La. His baby sister Janice ( Andrew) Richards of Kentwood, La, two sister in laws Elaine Fultz of Tangipahoa, and Ollie Fultz of Kentwood, Louisiana. Jerry has one aunt Maxine Knighten of Kentwood, Louisiana. Jerry was fortunate to have over 16 grandkids, and 5 great grandkids which were the apple of paw paw eyes.
Jerry was reunited with his parents, the late Moses and Doris Fultz, his brothers Clarence "James" Fultz and John "Mr.Boo" Fultz. A host of aunts, uncles, (1)niece, (1) nephew , cousins and friends.
