The Burton family, Smith family and  the entire Kentwood Community are deeply saddened to announce the passing of their Beloved Greg "Big Burton" Burton. Greg departed this life Wednesday afternoon, August 26 at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge, La. Greg was born July 22, 1964 in Independence, La to the late Agen Burton Sr and Mrs. Shirley Robertson Burton.

A Public Visitation is scheduled, Friday September 4, 2020 at Richardson Funeral Home from 2pm to 7pm.  All Visitors are required to wear a face covering or mask.

A Celebration of life Funeral Service is scheduled Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Greater Refugee Ministries Temple, Amite, La at 11am.

Please note: To adhere to Covid 19 restrictions, social distancing practices and to accommodate the family, Admission Passes for the public will be issued for those who wish to attend The Celebration of Life. There are 85 remaining Admission Passes and will be issued at the Visitation from 2pm to 7pm.
