Glenda Byrd, 59 of Kentwood, LA passed December 6, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her daughter Natasha Prejean and son Derek Gilliland, parents Joyce Chandler and Kenneth Byrd, Brother Rocky Byrd, grandparents Naomi and Robert Chandler and Gladys and Earl Byrd. She is survived by her son, Joshua Gilliland, her grandchildren Chris, Abbie and Hunter, a sister Carolyn Binger and aunts Vicki Ivy and Margie Byrd and her sweet dog, Captain.
Glenda was loved my many. She had a huge heart and people were naturally drawn to her. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, gardening, canning, and sewing. She will be missed by family and friends. Richardson's funeral home is handling arrangements. There will be a private family service at Neals Chapel Cemetery in Big Cove, AL.
