On July 21, 1956, Gail was born to the late Booker T. and Louise Hookfin
Wells in San Francisco, California. She was the fourth child of eight
children to this union. Gail was the mother of three children, Terrance,
Terilyn, Tara, and one niece Crystal that she raised as her own.

Gail accepted Christ at an early age and confessed Him as her Lord and
savior. Gail was a member of Orange Grove COGIC before joining
Deliverance Temple COGIC where she served as a choir member and cook
faithfully among many other capacities until her health failed. Gail was
known for organizing gatherings such as family holiday and reunion
dinners, class of 1974 get together, and birthday parties even through her
declining health.

Gail graduated from Kentwood High School in 1974. After graduating Gail
moved to San Francisco, California. Upon returning home Gail started her
career at Sanderson Farms where she worked for many years before
becoming employed with the Tangipahoa Parish School System and
Evergreen Life services.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Terrance (Yolanda),
Terilyn (Craig), Tara (Tony), and Crystal (Laddie). Twelve grandchildren;
Trevion, Terrance Jr., Brandon, Aalayah, Taniyah, Tyler, Aarie'l, Christian,
Antonio, Amari, Londynn, and Landen. Great grandchild: Cameron. Four
brothers; Charles (Betty), Dennis (Bonita), Stephone (Run'da), and
Stafford. Three sisters; Opal, Maeshell (Russell), and Tracie. A host of
nieces, nephews, family, and three loving friends; Willie J. Mearidy, Ella
Thompson, and Lorie Williams.

Gail was proceeded in death by her father Booker T. Wells, mother Louise
Hookfin Wells, niece Brittney Wells, and brother in-law John Cruse.
