DeVonte' Renard Holden was born to Josie Holden Turner and Stacey Howard on April 21, 1993 in Hammond, La.  He was the younger of two children. On May 24, 2021, God saw an empty space in his garden and quietly plucked a beautiful flower to fill that void.

DeVonte' was a fun and loving person who enjoyed making people laugh.   Family and friends often referred to DeVonte' as "Doonie". He was educated in the Tangipahoa Parish School System.    He became a member of   Baker's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church at a young age.   DeVonte' was also an amazing, loving, and devoted father to his four children.

Devonte; leaves to cherish his memories his stepfather and mother, Johnny and Josie Turner.  His father, Stacey Howard. One beautiful daughter, GeVonny Holden and three wonderful sons, Devonte' Jr., Jace and Kash Holden. Two brothers, Antonio Holden and Brandon Jenkins. A sister, Suprina Howard and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alphonse "Bo" Butler and Irma Holden and his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Evelyn Bennett, Rogers Bell, and many other family members.
