Sister Billie Marion Holmes, a beloved mother, and member of her community, entered into blessed rest on February 24, 2024, in Amite, Louisiana. She was the heartbeat of her family and the only girl born to Mr. Henry Holmes and Ms. Vertis Ann Dillon on October 23, 1939, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Sister Billie was a woman of great faith and remarkable strength. She honored the Lord and the power of His might. Her service unto God and His people was filled with unwavering love and compassion. She faced life's challenges with steadfast determination and graceful resilience. Sister Billie was a Godly giver and her kind heart left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5pm-8pm at Little Bethel Baptist Church. On Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Little Bethel Baptist Church, a visitation and funeral will take place. The visitation is from 11:00AM-1:00 PM, with funeral services to begin immediately at 1:00 PM.
