Obituary

Angela Yvette Ellis-Taylor, affectionally known as "Angie" was born on November
16, 1968, in Picayune, Mississippi. She was the beloved daughter of the late Clarence
Ellis and Flora Faison. Angela was married to Bobby Taylor Jr in 1989, and they
were blessed with four children: Christen Ellis, Quintella Ellis, Brandon Ellis, and

Rockella Ellis.

Angela was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She adored
spending time with her family and cherished every moment she spent with her loved
ones. Angela had a special bond with each of her many grandchildren, whom she

loved dearly.

Angela attended Franklinton High School and was a dedicated student. She loved
learning and always strived to better herself. In her free time, Angela enjoyed being a
nurturer, cooking, and spending time with her family. The love she had for family
was insurmountable. She enjoyed being the oldest sister and she often felt the need to

remind everyone who was the eldest.

On October 20, 2025, Angie transitioned to her Fathers' house. She leaves behind a
legacy of love, kindness, and warmth that will be forever remembered by all who

knew her. May she rest in peace.

Angela was preceded in death by both her parents Clarence Ellis and Flora Faison.
She was also widowed by the love of her life after 38yrs Mr. Bobby Taylor Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Christen (Latoya) Ellis of
Hammond, LA Quintella Ellis of Bogalusa, LA Brandon Ellis of Franklinton, LA,
and Rockella Ellis of Franklinton LA. She leaves 12 grandchildren. She also leaves
four sisters, Denise Ellis of Pensacola FL, Natasha Jones-Fletcher (Gregory) of
Picayune, MS, Nadjia Ellis of Picayune, MS, and Natavia Ellis (Amara) of Grand
Prairie TX. She leaves 2 brothers Willie McGinty Jr and Joseph McGinty both of
Pensacola FL. One Maternal Aunt Jenetta Bass of Pensacola, FL One Paternal
Great-Aunt Beverly Gray of Picayune, MS One Paternal Great Uncle Willie Ellis of
Picayune. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
