Albert H. Porea, Jr. entered into eternal rest at his residence in Independence, LA on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was a 70 year old native of Zachary, Louisiana. Viewing at Richardson Funeral Home in Amite, Louisiana on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 4pm-7pm, the viewing will resume at Peter Rock Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana at 8:00am until religious services at 9:00am. Interment will be in Louisiana National Cemetery In Zachary, LA.

Survivors Include a devoted caregiver and companion, Sandra Hampton; daughters: Carlette Garrett and Michelle Porea. Twenty grandchildren; Sisters: Sharon McNealy and Sherri Collins (Elvis); brother: Isaiah Hill; Stepdaughter: Kizzie Lewis; Stepson: Darryl (Margaret).

He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Sr., Isaiah and Mary Alice Hill; brother: George Keith Green, maternal and paternal grandparents.
